Canada's constitution works differently from the states. The US constitution is well organised into one document, that is not the case in Canada.
Three different components to the Canadian Constitution: (1) the written statute laws, a variety of acts which contains much of the constitution. These acts include the Constitution Act, 1867 (British North America Act, 1867) and the Constitution Act, 1982 (best known for part I the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Constitution Act 1867:
-establishes a federal states
-establishes the apparatus of government.
-divides responsibilities between the provinces and the federal government
Constitution Act 1982:
-contains many of the same provisions of the 1867
-contains the charter
-creates a way to change within Canada
-codifies what is a constitutional document.
A second source of constitutional law is the conventions. These are unwritten practices which determine what happens in government. Most common of these practices is that of the cabinet. The Prime Minister is only mentioned once in the constitution, the duties of the prime ministers are found in conventions. Most of these are traditions which are passed in the British model.
A third part of our constitutional understanding are the authorities of the constitution. These are scholarly opinions which determine the practices of the constitutions. The describe conventions, and what the practices have been. These exist to describe both the authorities of the crown and the parliament.

Canadian government is basically the Hudsons bay company...its run by the Queen and banking oligarchy... parliament is irrelevant to the running of the country...thats just a show...governments are selected NOT elected...the canadian government created the phony independence movement and are exploiting the Quebecois into this movement...sorry this vid is boring and lost

@1778owen I'm not sure how to reply to this comment, but to say I'm sorry that my video wasn't matching your theories of Canadian Government, but since it was boring why did you keep watching it? As with all my videos, this is about theory, not some conspiracy theory. There's enough exploration of conspiracy theories out there, and if you were looking for a video bashing our head of state, the banking industry and the Hudsons Bay Company then perhaps another channel would suite you better.
