It might save LOT of time if they don't stop at the intersections, I don't know why they stop at the intersections, weird. Seattle light rail do not stop at the intersections, they have the priority and they have traffic signals the time the train is nearing the intersection.

yes i did also find that very annoying, there was a couple of times we pulled out from the station, then the train would get about 100' and stop for a traffic light.
