@docjazz4 I also found it strange that even though experienced ocarina players were trying to help you in the comments, you didn't even acknowledge them. There's something strange with these videos...

Heya Sassy,
I just came across your vid and after listening to it a few times, I've found that on you're blowing too hard on your 12h. Instead of playing C you were playing a C#. On the 1st pendant, that bottom note was an F! On the 2nd pendant, you played a C# again. On the songstone, you played a G# when it should've been G. Try lowering your breath. This video is over a month old now I see... How are things fairing with it now?

Your Langley Tenor is in G. Find a keyboard and compare the low note of your Langley with the G key, just to the right of Middle C. From what I heard on this video, you were overblowing all the way to Bb. Lower the breath pressure you use on your Langley until you play it in tune with the G key. Also, compare the low note of your 12-hole ocarina in C with the C key one octave above middle C, as you are overblowing your TNG up to D. Proper intonation is a necessity for good tone with the ocarina.

I forgot one more thing. It's usually best to order from the maker themselves. That ocarina is not made by Hellomotto, he can tamper with. And my Langley came to me in 2 weeks.

Have you tried lowering your breath? It doesn't take much to play a Langley and it is very easy to blow over and get a squeak. His tenor also probably a different key as well. His ocarinas are in D and G.
I have his email as well if you want it.
Most of my collection are clays like the blue TNG sweet potato and the blue 6 hole Soprano. I'm not new to Ocarinas and LOVE my TNG, but wanted a 6 hole tenor so I tried the Hellomoto007 one...I wish it sounded like the video, it's such a beautiful instrument. Unfortunately, when you play, it's the sound that counts, not the aesthetics.
