Ecclesiasties was written by Solomon after he had IT ALL, literally. God had granted him riches and wisdom. Solomon now realized that it really was all vanity. Riches down here are temporal. In fact, his riches got him into trouble. When you read Kings you see he became a disgrace by building all his foreign wives temples to their idols. Without riches in heaven it is indeed all vanity down here.
(19) For that which befalls the sons of men befalls beasts; even [in the end] one thing befalls them both. As the one dies, so dies the other. Yes, they all have one breath and spirit, so that a man has no preeminence over a beast; for all is vanity (emptiness, falsity, and futility)!
in the christianity
human = beast
that's why a jewish rabbi Ovadia Yosef (you can find it in google)
(18) I said in my heart regarding the subject of the sons of men, God is trying (separating and sifting) them, that they may see that by themselves [under the sun, without God] they are but like beasts.
@mujahideentaliban I will answer you tho I doubt you are sincerely wondering. "Lay not up for yourselves treasures no earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves trearures in heaven, where moth and rust doth not corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal."
@mujahideentaliban The Bible exposes the sins of its characters. Exposing is not condoning by God. This family came out of a city of sexual lewdness beyond descriptions we would want to read about. They carried the filth with them out of the city.
im keen to know where the number of 72 virgins came from and how can i find where that number originally came from.
