  • awwww - I love this! So grateful there are such big hearted bird lovers out there that will rescue magnificent yet neglected birds such as this. Did you find a home for her? I have a young maxi pi named Zola and she is the sweetest bird ever!

  • This video made me cry. Such a sweet little face. I have a Green Cheek Conure who was neglected by his second family, too. When they had a kid, they put him in their laundry room in a tiny cage and never took him out for years. They just gave him food and water and let their dog come in to see him once in a while. He was rehabbed by a bird sanctuary and I adopted him. Like you, I can't imagine how anyone could let a beautiful creature languish like that. Keep up the good work. :-)

  • Great vid. and Parrot. I also have a Poinus

  • I'd love to rescue little fellas like him. I think I'm going to look into this. Bless you for being an angel to these sweet birdies.

  • omg its so sad someone would let that happen, maxis are wonderful birds

  • What a touching video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Such a little sweetheart, I am glad she is with you forever!

  • Maxi rocks!

  • Aw, bless her little heart. I had a maxi pionus for just over 15 years after raising him from a baby. Lost him last week, and it was heartbreaking. The vet couldn't figure out what happened to him. There will be another parrot later, but not until a lot of tears over Squawk. I hope Max found a good, loving home.
