@BSNBC i watched this to say BURN IN HELL. This is atrocious. How could you use this catastrope as an excuse to make the media look bad?!? I lived in New Orleans at the time of Katrina and still do. HOW DARE YOU tie politics into something like this?!? I don't believe this. The next time natural disaster kills hundreds and hundreds of the poorest and most poorly treated of all people, don't USE it to gain praise from the conservative right. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!

@019na I'm surprised it aired. It reminds me of the Jena 6 fiasco when reporters from CNN came to Jena to question people. They kept finding black people who said members fo the "Jena 6" were thugs who terrorized the black neighborhoods and had vandalized and threatened them, their property and their friends. The reporters would just shit the cameras down and move on till they found someone saying "Jena is racist. Those boys were railroaded" (usually family members of the 6 themselves).

@BSNBC Yeah, Olbermann is one of the most blatant propagandists I've ever seen. He shows clips of things, then gives a play by play of what you just sa2w, but his replay of what happened is always twisted and never adheres to the facts. He's a piece of crap.

Very smart woman! What a biased reporter. I wonder if he did a similar story about the extremely "slow reponse" of Obama and the federal government to the oil spill in the guf? Somehow I doubt it.

AHHHH! Awesome! Thank you! I live an hour away from New Orleans and was here for the hurricane! Our whole state has blamed the idiots two,Governor Landrieu and Mayor Nagin who did NOTHING! Watched it happen and refused to call in Washington. The Feds can't legally act if there is no declared state of emergency by state government. This the governor refused to do until it was to late. She was a BIG OLE democrat too. We learned our lesson here in La.

BSNBC, I love your name on here! As long as that network conists of Olberman, Maddow, Sellout-Matthews, Tamron Hall (daytime - if ya don't know it's understandable) they are BSNBC!!! CNN is about just as bad with the exceptions of Anderson Cooper and Lou Dobbs!

There is a website or blog specifically designed to invalidate every single opinion or fact on the planet. This does not make any sense to me. For example, watching a news clip on BSNBC and then Olbermann feel it is his responsibility to explain to you what you just saw. However, his explanation does not resemble anything related to the film clip.

Even if Louisiana had correctly spent the $2 Billion a year they get from the Fed to reinforce/build levee systems....the results would have been the same.
This was a massive storm.

Louisiana receives almost $2 Billion a YEAR for Corp of Engineer projects. Most, if not all, of the money was not used properly by the State and Local Govt's.

Bush has done a great job, at destroying America's good name in the eyes of world. He has done a good job golfing while sending over four thousand of America's next generation to their friggen graves for his lust for power and greed! Also, Bush and all his Republican henchmen have done a GREAT job thumbing their noses at OUR FUCKING LAWS!

This was taken shortly after Katrina by ABC, a very liberal anti Bush media outlet. They did not constantly air this because it was in sharp contrast to their political agenda. A media with an agenda is a problem, look at German history, his is how Hitler came to power.
Not everyone shares the views of the liberal media. Most media outlets are liberal, like BSNBC, NBC, ABC, CNN, CBS etc. A combination of liberal and conservative built this country. Without it, America will devour itself.
