Live Aid was great for Queen. They prepared them selves more than ever. (except for the Crazy Tour.) Freddie took a few months off and they practiced and got there fame back from the Works Tour.

The irony of Queens appearance was the opposite of what the critics say. The stunning fact was that Freddie took SA by storm in the middle of apartheid and he wasnt technically "white"!. I dont care if Freddie was black, white, asian or pink with blue spots on.He was a reat performer and communicator. Black SA's were being isolated by the world. I was part of the anti apartheid movement in the UK, I spent a night in a police cell because of it, I know what I am talking about.
