Hunter Solo Heroic Mennu the Betrayer (guide)

This movie shows me (Grashnok, 70 orc Hunter on Stormrage-EU) soloing Mennu the Betrayer in Heroic Slave Pens (plus a guide on how to do it yourself). At the time of recording I was Marksmanship specced, but your specc and gear are of no importance (a bow/gun and arrows/shells are all you need).

Killing Mennu is not hard at all, but I do reccomend to first get some practice on normal Slave Pens. I killed him twice on Normal before I went to Heroic. On heroic I took him out on the first attempt. But the trashed seemed much more difficult to pass by. I didn't make it (yet) past those packs around halfway without an invisibility potion, but it should be doable without.

You might notice a slight change in my actionbars/specc. That's because I screwed up recording that part initially, so I had to do it again. But at that time I respecced to BM, the rest of the movie is recorded as MM.

Yes, from their melee attacks at least. Because when you jump on the ledge they're going for another route to reach you (and that's a pretty long route), and if you jump down they come back for you. Allowing you to land some shots and jump back on.

(late reply). A few days ago I did him again, a friend of mine needed 1 badge for an item. And guess what, he resisted a FD... But I lived, I just ran back to that crate and jumped on the ledge (same as how I killed the trash). I just managed to survive it :)

You'd think that those patrolls would inspect you when they see a corpse all of a sudden, or that they'd ring the alarm when it's gone all of a sudden when they turn around, but noo..

Anyway, you don't really need an invisi pot, for the poor hunters out there, just need carefull pathing. Clearing trash at Mennu, you only need to worry about the engineer since he is a caster, as soon as he is dead theres no more worries since the rest are melees and will stay together so no need for fd.

It still works, and its great fun, going to do it daily.

And its very easy, inadvisability potion also makes a great difference for the pack in the middle.
