New Mexico RailRunner train #516 departs Albuquerque train station on a cold early evening. This was taken on my Thanksgiving trip to Albuquerque. The train was in push mode with cab car 1105 pulling it and with MPI MP36 #105 pushing.

  • It is electirc bells or non electric bells ?

  • If you can't tell, that's a Transtronic E-bell. Very distinctive, compared to air-bells and the ever-popular Graham-White E-bell, common on SD70ACes and GEVOs.

  • RailRunner has their own custom E-bell rather than the traditional E-bell.

  • It's a electric bell.

  • Is there something else in this station? I am surprised at the number of people standing around after the train left.

  • The Amtrak Southwest Chief was there also. Hope it answers your question.

  • It's not a custom, it's a standard, just a different make.
