Michael Schmidt,after the final trial day. The judge has been very fair but the York Public Health system is not protecting public health. They are protecting the interests of the Milk Marketing Board and their "proof" for this huge harassment consists of article on a web site they 'think' farmer Schmidt wrote.
This issue arose from a dawn raid November 21, 2006 on BioDynamic farmer Michael Schmidt's dairy farm by over 20 armed federal agents.
The government of Canada still relies on 1938 science & law as they have decreed that only pasteurized milk (which has been proven to sicken people with allergies and is nutrient empty) is the only milk that can be sold in Canada. Farmer Schmidt, who has a very clean dairy, wants freedom of choice in that the government of Canada should not mandate what we can and can not eat.
