  • what can I do apart from just give money

  • @blobyist The biggest thing you can do is take action - sign one of our petitions, or send a letter to a foreign leader on behalf of a prisoner of conscience. It really does make a difference!

We can't put a link in comments, so search for 'amnesty uk take action' on Google, and take your first step.

  • Will we ever see another secret policeman's ball? :(

  • @Veggervangtuze We can't possibly say whether another Ball is on the cards, but watch this space...

  • wonder how amnesty feels about a death penalty for the guy who went mental in Norway :) ?

  • @femihunden We believe very strongly that there's never a case where the death penalty should be used. You can read a lot more about our thoughts on the main amnesty site - just search for the Death Penalty

  • lol water cannons look fun

  • @TaskForceSixTwoSix Technically they pointed out China and Saudi Arabia too. Which are Marxist(to a point) and Islamic Fundamentalists. Hell, Saudi Arabia is one of America's biggest allies in the region, and responsible for some of the word human rights abuses there.

  • Amnesty International leadership are hijacking this charity and making it yet another corporate affair...4% of its turnover was given to its former Gen Sec in a secret fat cat payoff. Many members are leaving until someone resigns. Amnesty needs people who lead for belief not gross £200 000 salaries plus expense, bonuses and career moves. We will regain Amnesty for its members and essential staff and return to its original true purpose. Sara Hall blog Irene Khan payout.

  • @schizotypalgrasp re: "Nothing to see here..."

why would u even bother to make such a meaningless comment??? if u have nothing to say, say nothing at all.

  • @schizotypalgrasp '.. blatant effort to make the U.S. appear to be the worst offender.. There is only one nation apply pressure to ALL of them. AI's extreme biased wins no favor from rational people. "

u must have been watching with a very biased attitude. KSA was the only country that reacted w force. the usa was in no way made 2 appear worst. if u cannot see that there is PLENTY of basis 2 criticize the usa's human rights record, then u r neither rational nor logical- just biased & blind

  • @Crazymeuk she really, really, really is. What good news it was on the day she was released.

  • Aung San su kyi is inspiring

  • This video makes amnesty look like an all knowing organism that controls all

  • Mmm, instead of criticism how about you do something instead of sound byte news
