I got some parts off this 62 chevy for the 63 impala 2dr hdt. restoration, see my other videos and watch the 63 build from removing it from the field it sat in since 1977.

  • Theyre overlooked by race car builders. Theyre light, cheap, the later ones are sleek looking, and instead of hulling out a 69 Camaro, why not hull out a lighter, sleeker, cheaper corvair. Build a tube frame with front engine and wheel tub the rear. Thats better than cutting up a good camaro.

  • Yes $75, I should not have admitted that. When I walked in that yard armed with only a few hand tools and some chizels and said to the guy that I needed to buy some metal out of the floorboard and the trunkfloor metal, he told me $75 because he thought I was getting a few small panels, he kindof flipped when he saw what I chizeled off, but he stuck to his price because after all, if I had of cut pieces out it, it would ruin the rest of it and it wouldn't sell, but ooops!

  • Hi Restodan ! , i want to wish you and your Family a Happy Holiday . from Ray in Pa .

  • So Dan whats your opinion of corvair anyways?

  • We have a junkyard here in town that has like a dozen old cars Most of the bodys on these old cars look solid. It's sucks when you see old cars that have solid boys on them just sitting in a junkyard rotting away.

  • Dan you again? wow cool ..thanks for sharing...

  • dang man they dont have that many old cars in califonia junk yards atleast not were ive been

  • its just a dam shame 2 c all those once nice cars go 2 waste bt at least they were 4dr

  • Chassis, suspension parts, doors, metal, firewall, door class, etc. SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE WHOLE FRICKIN CAR! What a DEAL on a great parts car!

  • Are u in Texas? I noticed a few vids back that you went to the Lonestar Goodguy show..You wouldn't be willing to tell me where that junk yard is at would you? Thanks!

  • I'm surprised to see so many classic cars in the junkyard. I would love to visit a yard like this. Here in Chicago they are long gone from yards. All boring 90's cars now. So sad to sad to see these classic cars in such sorry state but a least there parts are keeping the ones that survived running.
