@ebufford: I feel the same way. I grew up in COGIC and deliverance style pentecostal churches and the organist/musicians are playing things so different than we were even allowed to play. I miss the clean and solid chord structures. You can't play with some musicians because they're all over the place with chords and runs until you can't even decipher what they're doing. Sometimes you need a Dramamine just to listen to them. I enjoy all of your videos and I for one would love a CD to listen to.

I wish I could get these kinds of sounds out of my Hammond. But nope! Mine is a cheaper learning style of Hammond cause it has an old tape deck built in to it. I wish I had a B3 SOOOOO BAD!

Ezra, you are a great musician. I am an organist and I enjoy listening and watching your videos here oi the west coast. I am from the olod school. I love traditional gospel.

Mrt ...thanks sometimes I feel bad with my old school self because this is so called 'funeral music' (as the young people calls it)is not the sound anymore and it's boring because theres not jazz chords or bad runs involved. However I have gotten many comments from young people who grew up with this sound and still miss hearing it and wants to learn how to play it the right way.
