He makes it VERY clear that he is NOT playing flamenco, he is playing his own interpretation of it. And believe me, I know what real flamenco is. I love Paco and Maya etc, they are among the most talented guitarists in the world. And I would unterstand your comment if Gilbert claimed to be playing flamenco, but he does say he is just playing a small piece that he enjoyed making.

He has no classical or flamenco technique whatsoever, but still pretty impressive and i liked it!, I'm amazed he could get the speed of picking with only his 'i' finger, his right hand was fixed into a claw like pose!
