Shooting a Propane Tank - Big Expolsion!!!

Bear in mind that propane tanks are designed not to produce shrapnel if ruptured and that they also have a safety release valve to prevent pressure in the tank from getting high enough to explode. Nolan and I took safety measures such as choosing a safe location in a sand pit, ensuring that there were no combustible materials around he site, good communication throughout the filming, and finally a very safe distance away from the target. The precautions that we took made this safe but we still don't want anyone to try this at home!

@onetwothree883 12 gauge slugs are not overly accurate for shooting mini propane tanks at 70 feet. :P But you're right. haha
