zapo147- now you are just being contradictive; you have no argument. A few moments later, he correctly states that ice is an exception (i.e., ice: where the volume of solid water is greater than liquid). Ergo, ice IS where a liquid has less volume than the solid, and if this is an exception, then the general rule must have been that Solids have less volume than Liquids, which is, in fact, the opposite of what he stated. My comment stands.
