20 Gallon Angelfish Aquarium 6.07.2008

This is my angelfish. I originally had 3, but as they matured the one I have became aggressive, and the others were removed. I bought them 2.5 years ago as dime size fish. Time sure flys. Seems like yesterday he was a baby.

I'm going to be working on redoing the plants hopefully this summer. I've had an algae problem for about a month.

List of Fish:
1x Angelfish
1x Opaline Gourami
1x dwarf platy
3x molly (just had babies so 12 now)
1x rubberlip pleco
7x oto
3x shrimp
1x apple snail

Not sure exactly what plants I have. I think one is ludwiga.

what kind of filter are you using and how often do you do water changes and what lights do you have?

-penguin biowheel 50 gallon powerfilter

-water changes weekly 25% of water

-coralife aqualight double compact lighting 120 watts on multiple switches.

Just Flourish Excel, and the gravel is a plant supplement gravel with slow release.

Thanks for replying! Does the slow relese substrate cloud water? I know that you have to clean i b4 you put it in the tank. I have anacharis but they always die. I dont know how..
