Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich explains what a public option for healthcare coverage really means for working people.
We thank Jacob Kornbluth for directing and producing the Robert Reich interview portion of this piece.
Pass it on to everyone you know.
We can't let the insurance companies decide who gets care and who doesn't.

According to that "logic" education is not a right. It is, whether you like it or not.

A right cannot cost another person a thing. That is why speech and carrying a gun is a right but healthcare is not. It costs you nothing if I speak my mind or carry my gun, but it costs you and the rest of the country to pay for my healthcare if this is implemented. Does one have a right to healthy food or a house? These seem to be more essential than healthcare in keeping on healthy.
