(watch until the very end of the clip, there's a small extra) [original size: 320x240px]

This is my tribute to the beautiful movie "Rain" by Christine Jeffs (2001). [I focused my attention on the relationships between Janey and Jim (her young brother) and between Janey and Cady.]

I do not recommend the viewing of this clip if you've never seen the original movie.

To know more about "Rain", please visit the page IMDB has dedicated to it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0287645/

The amazing song used for this clip is by Gorillaz and it's called "Demon Days" from the album with the same name.

(I am not making any money out of this)
(this is my first ever clip)

  • Amazing movie! Jim was incredible, Janey was incredible... Oh the whole cast was incredible. I love the scene where they tap magazines over themselves. I loved every scene though:P The whole movie (the cast, the characters, the scenes) was... Amazing:P

  • I loved this movie - and your video is great! The film had a very simple style, but there was such depth... Hard to beat as far as coming-of-age stories go.

  • @mooscacaca jim was so adorable in this movie, i was awwing ever two seconds. beautiful visuals and music in the film.

  • That moment in forest between two of them is adorable beyond measure.

  • Without doubt, the best NZ film ever. Christine Jeffs backgrounds the quintessential kiwi summer bach experience with a powerful fusion of first love, familial love, and forever lost love.

This film derailed me. Jim and Janey are perfect. I couldn't stop thinking about this film, and months, even years after I saw it, it still haunts me.

Christine Jeffs is a genius. It made me realise how radiant my own "Jim" is, and how special and unique he is.

    I've valued every second since.

  • I stumbled upon this movie by chance ... & couldn't stop watching it. It is perfect. By far the best NZ film ever - rates in my Top 5 films of all time. Great that it doesn't rely on kiwi cliches ... contemporary (it could be set in any western country) & also that it doesn't crank out the atypical NZ actors. Fantastic film (& great soundtrackm too). Jimbo

  • O_O the clip is really awesome! Great choice on music. It does contribute to the mysterious and somewhat melancholic mood of the clip. I totally adore how edit the sequel esp when you switch back and forth between the touching and the rescue scenes.

    Great job indeed. O_O!!
