Natural Hair: Mini Twists Tutorial

Sorry for the quality! My laptop kept skipping and freezing while I recorded this video.

This is my favorite protective style. I usually leave them in for 3-4 weeks. They are so small, that if you wanted to wash while they are twisted, you can. Just remember to rinse them thoroughly.

I start off by sectioning my hair down the middle. Then, on each half, I separate my hair into 6-8 sections. I 2 strand twist the section to keep them & I clamp them with the clips you see in the video.

I detangle (if necessary) by using a glycerine mix. I just get my hair damp enough for the comb to glide through. There are usually 10-15 mini twists in each section.

Once I get to the twists in the front, I start them off with a braid & then transform int twisting.

How do you get it look like you have hair added? When i do my twist it always just look like twist for a basic twist out. But your twist actually look like kinky twist. Now matter how many time i look at the video i keep missin somethin . But ur twist came out lovely
