My video is about how consuming is MAGNETIC. I imagine in a future America a video like this would be required viewing in preschools. For Source material I used archive films "200" and "aluminum 1956". Edited and sweetened with After Effects. Having trouble with resolution, so a good copy of the video is at Forcetheory.com/video.aspx. PLEASE COMMENT GOOD or BAD!

  • Very American! Visually all there, but really had nothing to do with the song, oh and there's no way that the label would pay to use all those trademarks in their music video. Like guarddog said, if this is original then its pretty cool...

  • Hey killa. I think it does have somethign to do with the lyrics: here they are...makes sense yeah. Hot blood red You’ve got a hold right through my chest Alarm Let me catch my breath Magnetic (there’s static in our skin) Magnetic I’ve waited for hours And now it’s time for cake My mouth waters And my teeth ache Won’t wait any longer Magnetic There’s static in our skin

  • i liked avenue D's version

  • very true. however i think in Avenue D's case, since the lyrics are so blatantly sarcastic, it works for them to not alter the original clip. For this application it was needed. nice job.

  • I tried to edit the "200" video and the "aluminum" vid to show how we accept the fact that cheeseburgers, t.v.s and flags fly at us (out of a giant cornicopia) at a pretty alarming rate. Also that these things we love and take for granted (endless things to eat and buy) are only possible through domination and destruction.

  • I checked out their site. Makes sense that someone else would cop the 200 video cause it's so increadible. But they didn't really alter the footage in any way to make it mesh with the music or to make any statement.

  • oh, i forgot...

  • Great stock footage, my only concern is that the band Avenue D just used the same footage in the video for "USA=#1"

Im sure it's a coincidence, but...

  • hehe it looks like you just took other footage and spliced it together, if its all origional, that's perty cool

  • pretty freakin' fabulous visually
