@Joannegmurphy Yeah.It came out when a lot of artists only TRIED sounding cajun because that was the in thing then.He's the real thing though and should have had a longer run at it.

When I first heard this song (late 80s) I was flabbergasted, It was the best song I had heard in 20 years. Only hit #12 on Billboard. Can't believe it, when so many way inferior songs were monster hits....
Writing, singing, production, all are tops. this song has it all.
