First Take debates whether the Colts should keep Peyton Manning or trade him.

  • They should get the best QB available, RG3, Luck, whoever.

If Manning is healthy, fine, keep him.

But Manning should mentor his eventual replacement, and it will only make the pick that much better.

No team is dumb enough to give up multiple high draft picks for Manning at this point, who is one hit from having his career end.

Pick a great young QB, and groom him, like Aaron Rodgers

  • If there is one guy I don't doubt, it is Peyton Manning. The man is the embodiment of Quaterback, probably the best passing QB to ever live, maybe even the greatest QB to ever live. Come on, one season injured and you give up on him?

  • rob the genius parker is right peyton manning needs to go and sign with the jets because if that happens there a 12-13 win team

  • Screw this debate, let Manning go!! Hopefully he will have the common sense to retire because IF he comes back to the Colts they will not produce anything more than 9 or 10 wins maybe. Colts should draft Luck & keep Manning as a offensive coordinator or personal consultant to Andrew Luck. One sack or hard hit & his neck is possibly damaged permanently. He needs to let go of his pride & go vacation somewhere on a beach. Period.

  • @CAChrisAnthony If i was a GM my team would be a success, deff for the next few years when manning comes back, and if the colts are so set on drafting a luck or staying with manning id trade away the #1 pick for numerous other picks to rebuild this team. Luck may be the next best thing but he seems somewhat over rated if you ask me

  • @DynamicoS21 ....till peyton is ready to sep down or god forbid gets hurt. i think if peyton can stay healthy hes got 4 or 5 GREAT years left 30+ tds 4000 yard seasons maybe even more than that. but if he gets hurt or something goes bad after this surgery then you have to prepare for that by drafting luck who is clearly the best quarter back (weeden second) in this draft class, plus hell learn from peyton, hell he already looks like a little mini peyton the way hes played at stanford draft him

  • @DynamicoS21 no it doesnt ring at all, leafs main problem was his issues in the locker room, luck doesnt have hose issues, the kid just wants to learn and get better and he doesnt have an ego that wont allo him to, horrible comparison, the kids the truth. but i agree you cant just give up on manning after 1 year of injury the guy is a baller and has always proven that...however, he could be potentially paralyzed if he gets hit again hard god forbid...you have to draft luck. groom him. till...

  • @Melo7Experience but you wanna call a guy who has been injury plagued and prone though out his college career, playing in the spread better? or better potentially? im glad your not a gm cuz your team would be horrible. with the number 1 pick you go with the for sure, and to me thats luck more than rg3 for everything I have listed previously

  • @CAChrisAnthony and im sure a lot of people had better years than tom brady when he was in college...superbowl mvp champion. nuff said...just cause he drops numbers in college doesnt mean he can do it in the nfl, luck has played in a pro style offense. hes groomed he looks of recievers he dominates the line of scrimmage like few do, still i dont understand how you can call a guy whos done nothing but win and put up numbers in a pro offense a bust, that makes no sense at all.

  • @Melo7Experience what are your thoughts on consistency?

  • @CAChrisAnthony who had a better year this year? hmmm... check those number i see improvement..

  • @Melo7Experience if your gonna stick with numbers, why not check out lucks the past 3 years, not just one by griffin?
