"Tay it'll be alright. Calm down." Selena hugged me.
"Sel...I...can't..." I said as my doorbell rang.
"Relax." Sel said as she got up to get the door. It was Demi and Joe.
"Tay I heard what happened!" Demi said hugging me.
"She's not sure if he was in the accident."
"Taylor can I talk to you?" Joe said awkwardly. It was awkward between us since he's in my life since Demi's one of my best friends and he broke up with me last year. I nodded and we walked into the kitchen.
"I'm sorry that I broke your heart last year. I didn't mean to. I just didn't think that it was going to work out between us. You found Lucas and I found Demi."
"At least Lucas didn't break my heart by a 27 second phone call." I said walking upstairs. My iPhone rang.
"Taylor, I can't tell who is in the accident. You should come down."
"Right." I said as I hung up. I ran downstairs.
"We have to go down there." I ran out the door with my purse.
"How about a car?"' Demi asked.
"We'll get stuck in traffic. Just run." I said racing in my cowboy boots.
"Tay wait up!" Sel said. I stopped and we jogged instead. We finally reached Nick.
"Nick!" Sel jumped into his arms and kissed. My eyes watered. Where was Lucas? I ran through the crowd of people.
"TAYLOR!" Nick, Sel, Demi and Joe were screaming from behind. I kept pushing through them until I reached the "Do-Not-Cross" line.
"Tay." Sel said. I didn't answer. I stared at the cars that were smashed into Lucas' work building. My heart was beating.
"No. no. no." I shook my head.
"It's Lucas' car." Sel said. I fell on my knees. My Lucas.
"Not my Lucas." I cried. Joe helped me up and I clutched onto him even though it was him. Sel and Demi hugged me too. Nick was talking to a police man.
"I'm so sorry Tay." They said. This can't be. Lucas and I were supposed to be together forever. I heard people cheering. What the hell? How can these people be cheering?
"Tay look!" Demi said. I looked up and wiped my eyes. I saw a bunch of people exit Lucas' work building.
"So." I looked down.
"Look." Sel said. I looked up and saw Lucas walk out.
"OH MY GOSH!" I screamed and ran to him (ya she cut through the "Do-Not-Cross" line haha). I hugged him tight and put my arms around his waist. I cried into his chest.
"Taylor baby what's wrong?"
"I thought you were in the accident."
"I'm right here baby." He rubbed my back. I looked up at him.
"Never leave me again. Ever." I said.
"I won't."
"I love you so much." I said and kissed him.
"I love you too babe." I hugged him again.
"Let's get home. I have a surprise for you." He said explaining what happened as we walked. That was his car, but they had a robber (he works at a bank) and he stole his car and then got into an accident. I smiled at him.
"I'm just glad you're here with me now." I kissed him. Nick and Selena offered to drive us to the "surprise" since Lucas didn't have his car. I was blindfolded. I decided not to guess. I love surprises anyway. I heard Nick and Joe whispering in the back.
"I know you're jealous Joe but get over it. You broke up with her. You have Demi."
"I know but how would you feel seeing Miley and Kevin."
"I have Selena so it doesn't bother me. MIley and I are still friends."
"I'd still be friends with her but she doesn't want to be."
"I wouldn't want to either! You broke her heart on a 27 seconmd phone call dude."
"I know."
"Just get over yourself." Nick said.
"We're here." Lucas brought me out of the car and inside the building. He took off the blindfold.
"OMG LUCAS! I LOVE IT!"
