Tell you what, folks - ANYONE who's been to Big Sur in Calfornia will RELATE to this song. The Beach Boys also did an A-Grade world-class trilogy composition (& all WITHOUT their mentor, the Immortal Brian Wilson; it was mainly Al Jardine's project). The BBs also had industry associations + friendship-level liaisons with Johnny Rivers, too. This triple music industry association / liaison, then, i.e. Aesop's Fables; The BBs; & JR - is a natural kinda coming together. Great song, this one.
