Its strange after people move abroad Guyana becomes such a bad word even to rate it as below third world, would some one tell us where the second world is or you like steroetype.

@samanthabacchus when is the last time you even been to guyana? Guyana maybe ranked below third world but thats only because it is not completely undustrialized. if guyana was so poor and messed up the u.s. wouldnt be trying so hard to dig their claws into guyana.

@samanthabacchus o you know what '3rd world country' means? It means an unaligned country. Officially, Guyana has been part of the unaligned movement. And in the matter of economics, Guyana is listed as a developing country, not an underdeveloped country, mostly due to large amounts of the national debt being forgiven by world banks.

I'm Guyanese and proud of it but I'm realistic. Guyana has many problem and some ways worse today than when I was living there. for your information it is rank below third world.
