Turbo 331 T-76 fox body mustang 1/4 mile 133 mph First shakedown pass

This is the first run at the drag strip with a new setup. 331 with 8.25 - 1 compression, t-76 turbo at 12 lbs. Trick flow twisted wedge cylinder heads with extensive port work. Trisk flow box r series intake ported with a comp custom grind turbo cam. Reved to 5800 rpm. 18 degrees total timing. Still breaking the motor in. Takin it easy off the line, not wanting to break anything. 2.248 60 foot. Tuned by me useing a tweecer. 60 lb fuel injectors, PUMP GAS. TKO-600 5 - Speed

@mustangracer2g hey I dont know what numbers he's making exactly but its gotta be close to 400hp. at that point your pushin the limits on a stock block. they're rated for about 500 hp. most people go with a dart block for a base. good luck!

I was wondering which engine block you used for this set up? I am considering putting together a similar set up, actually pretty much the same set up, a 331 stroker with 8.5 comp or so and a t66 or t76. I heard that the stock blocks can support the power. If you could hit me back and let me know I'd really appreciate it. BTW i noticed there is a 347 stroker in another of your vids, is it the same car? How much hp did the 331 make and 1/4 mile time? Thanks a lot.
