Developed at Tokyo Institute of Technology, the TITAN series is a fairly well-known collection of quadruped robots. This robot, the TITAN VII, was the first to include passive wheels at each foot that -- when rotated into 'rolling mode' -- allow the robot to skate around at speeds six times faster than when in 'walking mode'. The underlying principle is similar to how a snake slides along the ground.
Hi, this is the God of Humanoid Robots... I know how to make them run faster... also I have more strategies to put them faster on the markets while doing a great business, if you are interested let me know it can save many years to the technology...
