I found something like this on eBay for about $12. Not nearly as good, but fun to fly. Mine is made of rip-stop nylon with simple kite string that breaks easily. I noticed that there is nothing to hold your halves together. Slider is the wrong term, since the canopy is open already, but something to hold the 2 strings closer. I also find that the wind about 75' up is best. I've used my kite like that too. It's about 72 square feet. DZ owner kid says, anyway. (I like yours better overall)

@Tiger1357 This is an actual used vintage parachute made for skydiving. Its not meant to be a kite but with a little practise It will fly well. I have different line lengths. the longest being 100' . 550 lb test para cord works great. I use shorter line lengths for windy days over 13mph gust. About 15 minutes in strong winds also will give you a great upper body workout. Its like doing pull ups. I collect and sell these on Ebay on ocassion.
