  • if you want to hear this guitar played....search for this video:

Little Wing - Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Orianthi (Live House of Blues, Hollywood 7-10-2011)

  • @MrDuda999

Obviously you did not watch the video to hear him say his Dad restored and modified it and it had to be rebuilt after it had been lost because parts were missing. And Fender made the parts for the restored guitar. And fwiw, he is Franks son lol.

  • So the body is the only thing original on it? I think this is more about the history that goes with it rather then the guitar because of it not being it is more frankenstein,in a good way.

  • Astoria was March 31st 1967. The Miami Pop Festival was May 18th, 1968.

  • @blitzer7432 This guitar was burnt the week before at the Astoria in London. It was given to Frank the following week in Miami.

  • would'nt the most iconic peice of rock memorbila be the elivis j-45 elvis is the king of rock & roll, not hendrix !

  • fender should make a jimi hendrix relic series. god of guitars deserve it

  • you where at the monterey pop festival, lucky fuck. but then you werent at woodstock, then i turn into a green monster

  • The chrome pic guard makes the guitar look like shit. and the neck in a modern neck. which fucks up the whole guitar. it has been reduced to mean nothing. i don't see why anyone can make a big deal out of this guitar anymore. big deal, the guitar has been fucked with to much.

  • @blitzer7432 He usually switched to a guitar he cared less about when it was time to burn. Same thing at Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. The guitar he burns at the end isn't the guitar he plays the rest of the songs with.

  • @fenderjagmeister He used a lot of right-handed strats. Do your research. He also played a Flying V and a Les Paul. Check out Monterey Pop Festival from 1967 to see him play a nice black strat that he used a lot.

  • @jimihendrix19999 Jimi had many guitars you know.
