OKay, this is pure propaganda,
first off, Barrack Obama has nothing to do with the Extremist-Comunist state that Soviet Union was, as you try to say by putting their emblem next to his face.
Second, I bet you know nothing about Socialism. Socialism mixed with good democracy bases are extremely good and work just fine and you dont even realize they're near you until you pay attention. Did you know lot of Social/economical systems in canada worked on socialist bases ? dosnt make us evil-_-

Albanis2 is partly correct. Obama's government takeover of banking, manufacturing, health-care is more fascist than communist.
America is also an example of a mix of socialism/democracy (social security, medicaid, Dept. of Agriculture, Education, etc.).
Canada chose a different path, which is their right. America though, has valued opportunity through individual liberty/accountability over the guarantee of security through social programs. "Hope" it keeps that emphasis.

This is SCARY - really, really scary. Pledge Obama - um, that's like Saddam or Hitler stuff. My folks are throwing away all the DVDs that have these guys in them - I know that's like really harsh but I have never seen them so angry. They keep saying the revolution is coming. It's all so crazy. Why did he have to turn out like this? Was he always this crazy about power? Even the other kids in my HS are like "WTF Obama???"

The good news is that people are waking up. The country has slowly slid into socialism for almost 100 years. I have the hope that your generation will reclaim and fully realize the greatest hopes and aspirations of the founders. Your ability to get information empowers you to be able to consider all sides and think for yourself. We are at a historic crossroads for sure. But I believe that freedom flows in our blood and given a choice, Americans will reclaim what has been previously lost.
