Nintendo stole the show with the announcement of the Wii U. We had a chance to see what the capabilities of this new console where first hand. The Japanese Garden Tech Demo really shows that this console is capable of amazing visuals beyond what is available with the current generation.

@GeekingForJesus This was a rushed demo made on alpha dev kits. It's almost assured they can fix simple problems like that.

The only thing that bugs me about this is the lack of water displacement from things such as the fish.

Either this, or xbox and ps3 are going to have that much better graphics... Ofc, I am a nintendo fan, so I hope this is not the case!

It's funny, because I look at this and thing "Wow, these graphics are beautiful. Better than what I've seen on my PS3." And then I realise this is only been done with an early dev kit. And that it's not even pre rendered, but rendered live.
ON A NINTENDO CONSOLE.
They've finally filled their one gap. Wii U is going to pwn some serious ass. Guaranteed.
