While driving home from work today I noticed that a big flock of snow geese were trying to land in a field across from our house. These geese land in these fields and rip out the cover crops that protect the topsoil from blowing away through out the winter months.
Farmers protect their fields the only way they really can. With gun shots. The guns don't have to be aimed at the geese to scare them off. Any loud noise does the trick. But gun shots help to keep them from flying right back 10 minutes later.

@BizzareEditing there was a shotgun blasting not long after i quit filming. it wasn't me but a neighbor's kid was keeping them from landing for too long
