Growing Up - Peter Gabriel cover by Open Mind

So far, I have had a good time in my home studio with a number of cover videos that certainly meant something to me, but their emotional charge gets me nowhere near the level of this music.

Peter Gabriel ... One of the best singer-songwriters of our time ... a great emotional thinker ... a heartwarming human ... a musician who touched me throughout my life.
In the past 25 years I've pretty much been singing along with his music, so I thought it would be nice to put a PG cover online.

'Growing Up' seems like a good candidate. This song doesn't contain too high vocal notes, so it won't change my rather low voice into ugly squeak and hissing :-D

The arrangement equals the original studio album version, but I did not create an exact copy in sound. My covers sound more or less like the originals, but there's always a little touch of me in it.

I do not pretend in any way that I might even slightly have the musical and singing skills of the artists who I cover. For me this is just a creative leisure with an emotional touch. I publish on youtube because I find a lot of pleasure in making these recordings and I hope they can bring some joy to others also.

Please don't feel disturbed about the occasional lip-sync error. I was too tired during the video takes, and I was too tired/lazy to set up the green screen when I discovered there were no usable takes for a few scenes. I don't care too much. After all it's the music that really matters.
