**Watch in 720P full screen** I have flashed my Galaxy S2 with the new Android 4.0.3 Ice cream sandwich update I9100XXLPQ (POLAND) that has recently been released by samsung. I used ODIN to flash this Firmware, link to the ROM can be found at the bottom. I have put the nova launcher on to make it look more like stock ice cream sandwich as the touchwiz launcher although good, is not for me. It has been very quick, smooth and responsive so far and battery life seems to be very good. Filmed with the Screencast App

I couldn't care less if companies like sony and htc take 3 extra months to finalise their updates, as long as they are good.

True, I would rather wait for a polished update rather than a buggy one. Trouble is we do wait months.....and then there are still too many issues ^_^

there's a free version of screencast, but it only lets you record for 10 seconds or something. unless you find the paid app for free, and then use an app to remove the license check.

Root your phone and it will be better. i hated the original ics update with out root and i nearly sold it. root and u will get it and all the goodies from rooting and ics + a faster phone 4000+ on quadrant after rooting. keep the phone and forget samsungs garanti and support and turn to some one like xda developers.

Yeh I know what you mean they are too slow. But it's the same with all manufacturers HTC for instance all their customers are foaming at the mouth over updates..

Samsung has lost me as a fan,, In middle east my S2 is still on the old Gingerbread 2.3.5 since it was released, There is no update, no support and no care of Middle East Customers. Its very annoying.. I'm planning to change my S2 with Sony Ion when it releases. At least Sony has better services and much better materials to build their phones. Bad on you Samsung, Shame on you Samsung!!
