Lungren speaks in support of Israel

Congressman Dan Lungren (R-Gold River - CA) gave a speech on the House floor in support of Israel. Below is a transcript of that speech:

"Madam speaker, several years ago my wife and I - accompanied by a number of other members and their spouses - were privileged to be in the state of Israel at the time the Israeli government made a very difficult decision to turn over the Gaza to the Palestinian Authority.

"It was a very controversial decision, the question was, would this gesture of goodwill be reciprocated by the other side? And unfortunately of course it was not.

"And as in other gestures by the Israeli government, the response has been, 'give us more and we will not commit to the existence of Israel but you have to commit to the existence of a Palestinian state.'

"Let there be no mistake, it is a bipartisan support on the floor of the House for the state of Israel at this time of great need for them when they face all sorts of problems in the United Nations and
elsewhere.

"Let us be clear, we will not be divided on this, republicans, democrats, conservatives and liberals here in the House of Representatives and the United States Senate - support Israel in their effort to remain free and to not be forced into positions that are totally unfair."

Without Jews America would not have "Hollywood"- "God Bless America"- White Xmas- Las Vegas....( mobsters as well as nobel prize laureate) and of course America wouldnot be the worlds "super power" as we all know that Oppenheimer and Einstein were Jews who brought America into the Nuclear age well before any of America;s enemies... @stennant15 Jews recognize Jesus for who he was- A Jew. You know that Christianity was only invented some 400 years after the death of Jesus. If Jesus were to be resurrected today and he saw a church to the left and a synagogue to the right , it would be highly likely that he would walk right by the church, having never seen one in his life, and right into a synagogue a place where he worshipped as a Jew. That is not an opinion.. it is a matter of fact!

@mybeautifulbailey In 1948 Mallory Brown of the New York Times wrote a column " JEWS IN GRAVE DANGER IN ALL MOSLEM LANDS". Today there are no Jews left in Moslem lands. But there are 1.3 million Arabs/"Palestinians living amongst some 7 million Jews in a Jewish state that is only 27000 sq km out of the original entitlement of land to Jews that was 120,000 sq km. Imagine that? Arabs prefer to live among Jews when they could easily live among Arabs in any of the more than 20 Arab lands!

@ugha323a What a jewel you are. It is indeed all day long...absolutely shameful. When will people learn the truth? Israel NEVER kicked Arabs out of Israel in 47-48. The Arab leaders told their people to get out..."the Jews are coming, get out!" was what was said. This world will not stand by our only ally in the middle east, but will align with Islamo-fascism. The whole bible is written about Israel, the king of the Jews, and born in Bethlehem! From one Jewish person to another, shalom!
