"Hiro," arrangement for strings of a piobaireachd (classical composition--pibroch or Ceòl Mór, "Big Music"-- for the Highland bagpipe, characterized by a mournful or martial theme and variations) of the Skye MacCrimmon clan of the Inner Hebrides, Scotland, by Ingrid Karklins, musician and folksinger with roots in Austin, Texas. From her 1994 album (Track 8) "Anima Mundi" (Green Linnet Records). The layered strings approximate the layered tones and drone of the bagpipe.

Lovely piece of music and wonderfully played as well. Thank you for sharing!! I enjoy the visuals and they feel well chosen for this. :)

@Broblem12 Although Karklins transposed the piece for strings (from Highland pipes), it is very evocative. The tune comes from Skye, thus the images chosen. Thanks!
