Weekend in FRIDAY HARBOR

This is a vlog. It has absolutely nothing to do with my other beauty related channel, "pinkiecharm." I ramble on about random things that catch my interest. If you have no interest in what I have to say here, why are you watching this video? :)

Hubby and I spent the weekend of May 14-16 on in Friday Harbor Washington. Friday Harbor is a small town on the island of San Juan in northern western Washington State. My grandparents lived in this town for about 20 years and visited many times and even lived with my grandparents there while my mom was deployed (she was in the US Navy), and although they no longer live there, it remains one of my favorite places.

We made a few stops along the way, including the CCO at the Seattle Outlet Mall (funny enough that isn't IN Seattle), scenic views in Skagit County and Whidbey Island.

You grew up in such a neat place! I really want to visit Washington some day :) but I have to say, that school is very strange... It's like a big house. Haha all the schools I've ever seen were made of brick or something similar.

@dangerrkylaa I agree. *lol* Brick is rarely used on the West Coast because of the high chance of earthquakes. Brick just crumbles in an earthquake.

I've just discovered your vlog channel! I love your DITL videos, makes me miss home more than I already do. I was raised in the PDX area, but as my hubby serves in the AF, he got stationed in Little Rock, AR (Ugh! *lol*).  Can't wait to be back home, or at least closer than 2,000+ miles! Please keep doing your DITL vids, it's nice to see a glimpse of "home." (And now I want to visit Friday Harbor!)
