@ logiclovr: you should consider upgrading to dsl if nothing else. Also u might want 2 use Mozilla Firefox if u arn't already. How's ur memory cuz newer computers require a bunch. u should have a couple gb anyway. I download 8 files @ a time. I don't mind waiting cuz I'm usually busy doing something else Another thing that could help - I put all my vids on an exterior hard drive so the computer doesn't get bogged down =)

A few of his instructions go contrary to what I've learned about pasta. I always read that oil should be added to the pasta water and that the pasta should be rinsed in hot water (if eaten hot with sauce) or cold water (if being used for a salad). So who's right here?

@memory627 despair not, my friend, there is a solution!! If you grow tired of AB's "like the hat" quote, simply let the video load for a few minutes, then fast forward to the actual start of the episode. Simple as that! :D

I love good eats as much as the next foodie, but these vids take SO LONG to load!! If I wait one more minute for a good eats vid to load, I just might have to be admitted to the psych ward from screaming barbarically and throwing my computer modem and all out a closed window!! Does anyone know another host (free please!) that has full eps of good eats?!?

Actually in old houses with crappy pipes it can attract quite a bit of nasty stuff- just pour yourself a glass of hot tap water, let it cool and then taste it- it will definitely taste funny . You will see.
