Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation Theme Song

This is the altered theme song for the Phineas and Ferb Christmas special. It contains different lyrics and starts with a different tone from the original, but series creator Dan Povenmire finally gets his classical "Disney chorus" that he originally envisioned from the original story pitch.

Why is Phineas still dressed in shorts and a T-shirt?

Although as a cartoon character, he's impervious to cold if he wants to be (I mean, Candace was wearing her tank top in that Swinter episode, but it WAS summer). And for all I know, they're inside.
