this was a replacement of another easter egg on the japanese version
if you put "totakeke" in your name, the music is changed by the totaka song, a song that is played secretly on many nintendo games
-
I did this when I was six years old on Link To The Past. XD
Seriously believed he just happened to have a girly name.... in my defense, he WAS wearing tights.

Zelda is not in that game anyway
-
Zelda has to rescue zelda.
TIME PARADOX

No, Oracle of Seasons/ages has a bigger, More clearer, effect.
-
@Greenalink um actully in Wind Waker if you tpye zelda as your name the entire soundtrack is altured with tweaks and new songs.
-

@DeeperBlueX16
Nope, only a few games has an easter egg effect when typing ZELDA.
Zelda 1 and Link's Awakening are the only notable ones.

This is suppose to be Totaka's song in the japanese version isn't it?

No this isn't the Totaka's Song.
The Totaka's Song is coded in the game but there isn't a way to hear it yet (or never).

There are 2 different Totaka's songs in this one. The simple series of notes and the other one which is (related to my previous comment) one of the 8 instruments playing the Totaka's Song.

Thanks for this video XD
My favorite music in any GB game is the Mt. Tamarach theme, but I like that tune too.
I'm guessing you know about the music change if you hang around the house of the guy who wants leaves?

yeah, I do.
It's that Tokoate song which is an Easter egg on many games.
