Just Brilliant !

I saw him at Clare College Cellar in 1987, Cambridge. His mike stand was a christmas tree of joints, a couple of which he smoked. After the interval he was so stoned he could hardly make it down the stairs. But his performance was absolutely perfect. Talented, talented man.

Incredible version... 'Flat, Baroque & Beserk' is such a great album, just one brilliant song after another... and this version is just beautiful! Thanks for uploading!

@MultiTherev what a wonderful insight, into the maechanics of making wonderful music
-
like dylans -you got a lotta nerve, to say u are a friend of mine- i forget the title- this may be roy harpers addition to that venerable institute the protest song -makes you look down into your soul - harrowing. on the plateau of his achievement -almost religious. we who are about to die applaud you
-
he's just unique genius moving funny just wonderful
-
can anyone tell me what guitar roy has here please
-
@eddypfunk He's got the bottom E tuned down to B flat so intonation can't be perfect, but that's part of what makes this an amazing version!

I cannot express my thanks for this video posting.
One of my favorite Harper songs! Wonderful!
Thanks again!
