Pocahontas è un film del 1995, ed è il 33° classico Disney.

Pocahontas (c. 1595 21 marzo 1617) fu una donna nativa americana che sposò un uomo inglese e diventò una celebrità a Londra verso la fine della sua vita. La sua vita ha posto le basi per molte leggende. Poiché non ha mai imparato a scrivere, tutto quello che oggi si sa di lei venne trasmesso alle generazioni successive da altri, così i pensieri, i sentimenti e le ragioni della Pocahontas storica rimangono in gran parte sconosciuti. La sua storia è diventata la fonte per storie romantiche nei secoli dopo la sua morte, tra cui il film della Disney e The New World.

Il film ha avuto un sequel dal titolo Pocahontas II - Viaggio nel nuovo mondo.
