I love Richard Troxell. I first saw him as Pinkerton in the 1995 Mitterand film version of Madame Butterfly. Excellent lyric tenor - and very handsome. Great performance as Hoffman!

This was actaully the first opera I've ever attended in MN... I adored the Doll song, they did a magnificent job.. And Antonia's death did one of the coolest things I've ever seen on stage but that was because I was so drawn into the stage. But, I hope you're able to find more videos of this prodcution.

Haha, I loved this production. I love the Minnesota Opera so much. I think they put on great performances and this is one of my favorites.

I tried this comment before, and it did not work so I will repeat. I live in Minnesota and had planned to attend this opera, so if you have any more video of this production (i.e. Doll song, Antonia and Hoffmann's love duet, Antonia's death, the Barcarolle) I would really like to see them.
