http://www.letsrun.com It was smooth sailing for Kiprop as he went from last to first on the last lap. He said, "I hope to finish in the medal bracket. I felt easy. The race was nice. It was fantastic. I had no pressure. I didn't feel any stiffness."
Haron Keitany was out with a stress injury in his left hamstring according to Kiprop.
When the front pack is bunched up, it is much safer to set the pace yourself for there are no rabbits in major competitions.

Asbel, mutyo amu mainyoru the medals. Amache agonin encouragement amwae ale labatet kou noto, you win today, another day you don't win. You have a good talent, lakini wal your strategies. Run at the middle or front, please not at the back as it can be hard to outsprint stronger runners like Kamel ak Lagat. Anyway, Asbel, amagun the very best brother.

Asbel Kiprop, I have watched your races and my advise is simple, stay at the front!!! The idea of relaxing at the back of the pack and trying to over-stride the rest at the home stretch is not working, at least for now.
