One At Bat: Adam Greenberg

He has been rehabbing, training and playing minor-league/independent ball for the chance to relive his childhood dream and get back to the majors. Matt Liston is petitioning to get Adam one at bat in the Cubs vs Astros series at the beginning of October as both teams will be out of the playoffs.

Wow - I just had a long talk at a bar about Dickie Thon not too long ago with a Philly fan...you are right on. He had his eye crushed (I think) and was never the same but still a tough ball player.

He eventually get his one-at bat, for the Marlins in 2012, its on his stats. That at-bat he struck out on three pitchs

as a pitcher you will hit batters and your better off not doing anything to keep yourself reminded about it but yes i agree he should have walked up to him when he was on the ground
