I hit a PR on the snatch today at 80kg but I didn't push the button well to record !!! I wanted to call it quits but needed something on film so I tried to hit 82.5kg and failed. Not aggressive enough !

Clean & jerk is a good PR too at 102.5kg. I never saw my push jerk on film and now it explains why I was getting pain in my right knee. My dip portion in the jerk sucks and my knees are paying the price. Now I know what needs to change.

Still a good day today ! :)

  • I like your vids, man! Great work! You have a great rack position on your clean, but you need to reposition before you jerk the weight. Your elbows are WAY too high which makes you essentially do an overhead tricep extension.. not the most powerful way of getting it overhead. The jerk starts off the same way as a shoulder press. Drop the elbows a bit and squeeze them in tight to your sides and you should be able to lift even more.

  • I would suggest to buy some Adidas Adistars, those shoes are too mushy for your weightlifting purposes...
