1st Video Upper Michigan Earthquake with Crack in Earth (Original)

On October 4th, Eileen Heider heard a loud boom followed by her house shaking. She spent to day trying to figure out what happened. The next day when someone went to get some firewood, they discovered this crack in the ground. The ground had also risen 5 feet high, parting the trees to the side.

10 miles east of Eagle River Wi, on Oct 30, 2011 while sitting in my screen porch facing north, around mid day I heard a short low rumbling sound followed by my house & porch making creeking noises. Lasted about 5-8 seconds.

As far as I know, there is no mining activity happening in Vilas or Forest Counties.

I read somewhere that the earth has grown in the past... and these cracks in different parts of the world, north america, south america, new zealand = at the borders of the great pacific ocean, are much visible... it had not to happen with earthquake events...
