Alas, some entertaining cloud shots.

Any meteorologists out there will no doubt be able to recognize a few more of the formations and in greater detail than moi. For such (or any other science geek), this video was shot between 14:30 and 16:00 on 19 August 2007, while flying westbound from Ft. Walton Beach, FL to Dallas/Ft. Worth at a top altitude of 10,000 m (33,000 ft).

  • its amazing when you are above the clouds its a clear sky. but when you are at sea level its so dark

  • It really is. The contrast is always so striking.

  • if you look real hard you can sometimes see faces and stuff in the clouds

  • That's always one of the fun parts! :)

  • very beautiful, thank you for giving me this opportunity to see things from above....
