From the trendy town of Milton Keynes, many of you will know Rani as the lady behind Raine Records and rising star Arjun. After managing artists for 3 and a half years, Rani is ready to 'Play This Game' as a singer-songwriter.

Play this game is a song about a young girl who experiences her first love, but knows the guy is not a one woman man, it's about moving on and not playing the mind games anymore. Arjun the man behind 'Remember Tonight, Stargazer & Vampire' has produced the song and given it the soulful edge behind the voice of Rani.

Rani's creative journey began at the age of 12, initially writing poetry before turning her hand to songwriting and singing. Her songwriting has already been recognized on singles such as 'Diwana' (Arjun et al) and 'Crazy', which later featured on a Universal India remix album called 'Crazy on the dance floor'). Rani is also the creative Hindi spark behind Raxstar's infamous 'Jaaneman' which has racked up over 700,000 views on youtube!

Rani says: 'My main musical influences are artists such as MJ, Shai, Blackstreet, Boys II Men, Donell Jones, Teedra Moses, Amel Laurrieux, Chaka Khan and Toni Braxton. As you will hear in my music, my favourite genres are Soul and real RnB. From a songwriter's perspective, it's always heart-warming to see people singing your lyrics and posting them all over social media sites.'

Rani has made her presence felt in the industry by organizing charity events, music showcases and launch parties. Outside of music she has honed her skills as a marketer and new media expert, while maintaining her passion for poetry. Her work has been widely recognized and has been published in poetry anthologies (most notably her poem 'Find Love' which appeared in 'Happy Birthday To Me')

Although Rani has kicked off her musical career, she does not plan on giving up management; in fact she is only just getting started! Watch out for much more from this multi-talented woman in the near future.
